Wednesday October 22

This morning we walked along a path to see various points of Victoria Falls. The water level is very low, so the view was not as impressive as it can be in other seasons, but I still thought it was pretty special.

We relaxed the rest of the day, and then went for a cruise on the African Queen to watch the sunset over the Zambesi River. Hippos on the Zambesi River

A nice end to our trip. Tomorrow we start the flying marathon home, so no pictures likely will follow todays entry. I'll be home in Ontario by late Friday night.

Tuesday October 21

Up early to head off to the airport to fly to Zambia for our last stage of the trip, to Victoria falls. We stayed at the Zambesi Sun,a nice resort in Livingstone.

Monday October 20

We had one last game drive in the morning, followed by a relax by the pool before heading to the local airport to head back to Johannesberg, then overnight at a hotel near the airport after an attempt to see Lesedi cultural centre. We got caught in traffic, so only made it in time for dinner, then back on the bus, tired and grumpy.
