Today was a travel day, from Capetown to Outdshoorn along the garden route. We saw Chacma baboons along the roadside, plus some birds and beautiful scenery.

This was a common site, guys riding in the backs of trucks.

We stopped for lunch at a roadside cafe as many places here are closed on Sunday, a true day of rest in rural communities. Across the road was a shop with skins of springbok and cattle draped on the railings.

We spent the afternoon at an Ostrich farm where some of the girls tried riding the ostrich. What a riot!!

Overnight at the Queens hotel with a lovely meal beforehand. Comfy hotel, and finally a good sleep to catch up from too many short nights.
